WiFi authentication system

WiFi technology has seen a significant increase in popularity, especially with rapid development of portable gadgets (computers, PDAs, mobile phones etc.).

Public hotspots are usually open which means access to everyone without limitations.

Why a public hotspot is not an optimal choice:
  • WiFi hotspot abuse (network intrusion),
  • unwanted overuse,
  • lack of usage control.

As a result, the quality of service is poor.

At SIEL we developed a global solution for managing and controlling public hotspots.

SIEL WiFi system is based on extended functionality of a normal WiFi system and offers:
  • customizable welcome pages,
  • access management,
  • user control.

Welcome page
Can be fully customized. Suitable for news, offers, ads or forums. Layout and content can be customized to client’s needs and requirements.
A successful login enables access to the system. Free access is available to preselected web pages (promotion, news etc.).

Login
Login form quickly accessible on the welcome page.
You can choose from different login options:

  • free login (with a simple mouse click),
  • token-based system (prepaid),
  • with a username and password (for employees),
  • login with e-payment,
  • SMS login (password is sent via SMS),
  • USSD login for mobile operators,
  • integration with other ERP systems.


Control panel
Extended overview and management over WiFi network usage:

  • various stats (number of visits, duration, user overview, token overview),
  • creation of users and passwords,
  • creating and printing of tokens with passwords,
  • token management (used and unused tokens),
  • user or group access management,
  • access history overview,
  • current access overview,
  • setting login duration,
  • data retention (in accordance with data retention law).
